About Me
I am a qualified professional childcarer who is looking for babysitting work.
I love working with babies and children it’s extremely rewarding for me to watch them grow and develop being apart of helping them learn about the world around them.
I am a very positive, relaxed, down to earth and patient person. I enjoy reading, swimming, cooking and baking new things.
I aim to instil an inner self confidence, independence and help your child to become a caring , respectable little person.
I am happy to do light housekeeping including food prep I love cooking - I’m a vegetarian and have experience cooking vegan meals happy to cook meat too.
I can use simple baby sign language to help your little ones communicate.
I love getting out and about with the children to library, shops, swimming, soft plays, farms , parks and nature walks.
I am very knowledgeable on child development and can set up fun activities to encourage your child to reach their milestones. For example painting, crafts, baking , reading with props, teaching children to cook and messy play with sand/ water ect
My Experience
I have 8 years childcare experience from working in nursery’s, being a nanny and a childminder assistant which led to becoming a childminder.
I have lots of experience with autism my brother 15 and sister 8 are diagnosed with autism, I have completed many courses/ training on autism.
My Qualifications
Enhanced dbs , first aid level 3 , special needs experience, early years development training , safeguarding training , level 2 childcare qualification and a handful of other training courses which I keep up to date.

Codie has babysat for us on a few occasions when I work the late shift and has always been amazing. She's punctual, friendly and puts you at ease knowing that your child will be in the best hands while you are out. I would definitely recommend her if you are in need of a babysitter!

I booked Codie after finding myself with no childcare the day before a planned event. Codie was able to help at really short notice. I was slightly nervous about leaving the children with someone they hadn’t met before but they absolutely loved her. She came with her folder with all documentation and certificates which really put me at ease. Codie is obviously experienced with children and they’ve only had great things to say about her… they can’t wait for her to come back and play games. Highly recommend and will be using again x

Codie is a wonderful babysitter. I was a very nervous mum as I hadn’t yet left our girl with anyone outside of the family. Codie made me and my daughter at ease quickly and it was obvious my daughter had fun with her. We look forward to using her on an ongoing basis!

I've been going to Codie for a few months now - and she has truly been fantastic!
My 4yo son looks forward to seeing her so much! He always comes back from her in such a happy bubbly mood.
Codie has been great with helping me with childcare whilst I work.
She sends me pictures every week of what they're been up to, whether it be baking cakes, a day out at the park or to Drusillas.
She's such a caring and energetic girl, and my son adores her

Codie is just wonderful. My son has been going to her for a little while now and absolutely loves her. She does so much with him and what’s even more important is that my son is non verbal Autistic and she just knows exactly how to get the best from him and she really understands him. I’m so glad I found her. Would very highly recommend!
