About Me
My name is SMART, and I am a motivated and conscientious individual with over 17 years of experience across various sectors, primarily in Mental Health Nursing and Social Housing. In addition to my experience in healthcare, I am a dedicated part-time Nanny/Manny and Childminder, working with families across the UK. I specialise in providing nurturing, child-led, and trauma-informed care to children as young as three years old. My work goes beyond traditional childcare, as I focus on creating a supportive environment that fosters growth, independence, and confidence in young minds—the next generation of leaders.
To support my childcare work, I run my company, PROSEMART Care and Nanny Services, which offers flexible, temporary, and ad hoc childcare solutions. My services include:
Nannying and babysitting.
Childminding and wraparound care.
School drop-offs and pick-ups (school runs).
Football coaching (1:1 and 1:2 sessions tailored for children).
Travel care and accompanying families on trips.
Maternity care and postpartum support for new parents.
Parental support, including advice and assistance in managing routines and transitions.

My Experience
I have an extensive and diverse background of experience working with children and young people over the past 17 years, both professionally and personally. My professional roles have included being a Male Nanny, Learning Mentor, Mental Health Nurse, Football Coach (for almost six years), Youth Worker, Play Worker, Support Worker, Childcare Practitioner, and Housing Support Officer.
In addition to these roles, I have firsthand experience taking care of my children, which has deepened my understanding of the day-to-day challenges and joys of raising and nurturing young minds. This personal experience complements my professional expertise, giving me a well-rounded approach to supporting the growth and development of children and young adults.

My Availability
My current availability is
Every evening after 3 pm and full availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
I can cover during the day on Thursdays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays I can cover after-school evenings and nights preferably looking to fill the gaps I have above as much as possible!
I also offer travel nannying, wedding childcare, party childcare & christening childcare.
My availability during the Summer/Easter/Christmas holidays and half terms:
Monday - Friday from 7 am - 8 pm.
Full availability on Saturdays & Sundays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Childminding from £15.00 per hour
Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
Childminder from £15.00 per hour
Evening babysitting fees for myself are from £15 an hour. This can be discussed/negotiable when speaking to or messaging myself. I am also OFSTED registered so happy to chat about childcare vouchers.
My nannying fees are different to my evening babysitting fees.

Smart looked after My 2 children during the last summer. He's everything I hoped I'd find in a child minder. He's very reliable and attentive to details, we are sure that our kids are safe with him.
Smart is kind, patient and a fantastic child minder.

Smart is amazing and very good with the work he is doing with my son, they have formed a natural bond and my son has a great connection with him that has help him developed his football skills quickly. Smart has good communication skills, and he is easily understood. He is reliable and trustworthy, I have no worries, and I am at peace whenever my son is with him. The same has been said by other parents who use his services.

A warm, welcoming environment from the time you arrive and a huge variety of activities/days out on offer for the children to keep them entertained.
Smart go above and beyond and constantly posts photos up so I can see how my daughter is doing. She absolutely loves going and always goes in with a massive smile on her face. Smart offer a setting where children can really thrive in a caring, kind and positive environment. For myself as a working parent, knowing that she is happy and being well cared for is such a fantastic support.
I cannot recommend Smart highly enough, he cares so much about the children in his care, and I’m fortune enough that my daughter is one of those children.

Smart is very friendly, kind and gets along very well with my son. My son says smart is easy to talk to. I am at ease leaving my son with him knowing he is in safe hands.
