About Me
My name is Dee, and I am an Ofsted registered Childminder in Spalding. I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you and your little ones. With over a decade of experience as a teacher and a deep-seated passion for nurturing young minds, I have dedicated my life to providing exceptional care and guidance to children. I live in a 4-bedroom detached house in Spalding.
As a mother of four wonderful children, my journey in childminding is inspired by my own experiences and the love I have for kids. My years in education have equipped me with the skills and understanding necessary to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
My philosophy centres around providing personalised care that caters to each child's unique needs, fostering their development, and encouraging their curiosity. I believe in creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere where children feel loved, secure, and excited to learn.

I am available from 7 am to 6 pm between Monday and Friday. I also offer overnight care where required.

I've just begun using Dee's setting for school holiday care for my 5 year old son and my impressions so far have all been very good.
My son has additional needs and so can present some unique challenges, but Dee helped him settle into her setting and begin enjoying himself very quickly. After only a few days he visibly couldn't wait to get through the door and begin his day there.
From what I've seen of the setting (both in person and through the regular Tapestry updates) it has a wide range of equipment and activities and has certainly managed to keep my son very well entertained. He is always happy when I collect him and Dee always takes the time to tell me about his day.
Dee herself has always been very welcoming and helpful, both while I was registering to use her setting and now that I've started. I plan on using her services again in the future whenever she's available.
I would definitely recommend her.

I was in a desperate situation to find a childminders for the school holidays in such little time. Dee was fantastic and fast with organising everything and made me feel at ease with the signing up process. She listened to all my concerns and supported me with this. Dee is very welcoming and surprisingly my children settled very quick with her. There was great communication throughout and kept me updated with everything my children had been up to.
Millfield Montessori is a fantastic childminders it’s very clean and very safe environment. Dee is amazing, friendly and extremely caring.
I highly recommend this childminders in the local area! I will definitely be returning in the future!

My little one has been attending Dee’s for a few months now and totally loves going! Shes really sad to leave every time and talks all the way home about what she’s done.
I can’t recommend Dee enough she’s always so happy, friendly, helpful and nothing is ever a problem. Dee’s room is also very well set up and offers lots of activities for the children, which is always super clean and tidy.
It’s so nice knowing my little one is being looked after so well! We will be sad to leave in July when she moves onto school in September.

My youngest has recently started at the nursery and honestly I’m absolutely blown away by how lovely and supportive Dee is! My son has a speech delay but in the few short weeks he’s been attending he now says so many words!
Not only that but the setting itself is lovely, a great outdoor space with anything a child could want and the indoor space is no different. I feel very lucky to have found Dee and have her supporting my son.
From messaging to my son starting was incredibly quick and she has been so flexible with working with my families needs. I really can’t recommend this lady enough and wish I’d found her sooner for my older two children.
I think it’s also worth mentioning that the amount of care and attention I know my son is getting compared to a lot of the overcrowded nurseries I viewed is amazing. My son runs in without a second thought and I’m really excited to see where his development goes now we have Dee’s support.
10/10, cannot fault this lady or nursery. I will be recommending this nursery to anyone who is looking! If you’re unsure about a smaller or private nursery don’t be, my sons speech speaks volumes for how amazing it is!

We love Dee! She provides excellent care to our 5 year old daughter and 8 month old son. Nothing is too much trouble! The setting is well thought out and beautiful with lots of wonderful educational activities and toys on offer. Extremely clean as well. Both children have settled beautifully and we recieve regular updates throughout the day.
I really can't recommend Dee highly enough.

We highly recommend Dee, she is kind, friendly and nurturing. Our daughter is settling in brilliantly and is thriving in Dees care. It's a wonderful setting with lots of opportunities for all sorts of different play, both indoors and out, encouraging child development.
We are regularly updated on what they are up to throughout the day on the Tapestry app which is lovely to see.
The setting is very safe, clean and tidy.
