Hello, I’m Nadine, a dedicated tutor with over seven years of teaching experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Education with Management and Leadership. I have worked in various educational settings, including international schools, EYFS, private schools, Montessori environments, and one-to-one tutoring, I also have experience teaching children with SEND.
I understand that every child learns differently, and for many children with SEND, the environment can play a significant role in their ability to focus and engage. While lessons can initially take place in the home to help your child feel comfortable, we can discuss a plan after the first few sessions to gradually introduce new environments if beneficial.
For some children, stepping outside the home or into unfamiliar settings can be overwhelming. I work on building their confidence and adaptability, taking small steps to ensure they feel supported and secure. This might include teaching essential life skills like navigating public transport or exploring community spaces such as libraries, museums, and community centres—all of which have appropriate public liability coverage to ensure safety.
My lessons are designed not only to meet academic goals but also to build real-world skills and independence. I tailor each session to your child’s individual needs, working towards achieving AQAs or other qualifications that align with their abilities and aspirations. We will work together to create a plan that supports your child’s growth both academically and personally.
My Experience
My lessons are personalised to meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to learn. I specialise in working with children aged 2 to 15, including those with SEND.
I use a variety of interactive teaching methods, including games, activities, and visual aids, to make learning fun and effective. Each lesson is designed to build confidence and develop essential skills at a pace that suits the learner.

Nadine has been amazing with my 14-year-old, who has autism. She takes him to local public places, events, and classes when we agree they’d benefit his learning. This has been fantastic for his confidence and social skills, and we’ve noticed such positive growth since he started working with her.

Nadine has been amazing with both of my kids, ages 4 and 6. She’s got such a great way of keeping them engaged and excited about learning. I love how she reads to them during the lessons, and it’s really helped improve their listening and comprehension skills. The progress has been noticeable, and they always look forward to their sessions with her.
