About Me
I know from past experience how hard it is to find experienced, responsible and reliable childcare, so I am now offering a babysitting/nannying/home help service for families in the West Yorkshire area.
I am a parent to 2 older active boys, one 13yr old and another a fully fledged 6ft giant of a teen who's almost an adult. I also have a lovely 4 legged fur baby, so dog and cat households are also ok.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience working with children in a wide range of settings, from leading play schemes of 40 children, babysitting, working in creches, working as a family nanny, childminding and working in children's centres (over 14yrs).
I have experience of working with children with a range of allergies/medical needs and a variety of additional needs including Autism, non verbal, ADHD, ADD and other complex needs.
My Qualifications
Childcare qualifications:-
•1st class Bachelor's (Hons) Degree in Early Years
•Foundation Degree in Early Years
•CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education.
•GCSE Childcare.
•Level 2 food Safety and Hygiene
My Availability
Very flexible.
Monday to Friday
-regular or occasional days/evenings/night/over night.
Weekends
-regular or occasional days/evening/night/over night.
School holiday/school training days cover available.
Home help service also offered, all household jobs including tidying, laundry, cleaning, ironing, vacuuming, organisation, cooking, dog walking etc.
Fully insured as a babysitter, nanny, domestic cleaner and dog walker.
Able to travel, clean driving licence held for over 25yrs and have a vehicle.

Laura was just amazing! For the past 4 months, she has nannyed/babysat our now 18 month old daughter once a week. Realiable, professional, and caring, Laura was a real delight to have around the house. Our daughter really enjoyed spending time with her and they had some wonderful adventures out and about! Thank you so much Laura.

I needed to spend 2 nights in London due to work and needed someone to do the pick up and drop offs to school from friends houses and also to feed my dogs and take them to the garden while away. She not only did that but could tell how the kids enjoyed the time with her. I highly recommend her. Super professional.

Laura looked after our daughter while I was recovering from a broken knee. She was excellent in everything she did, and had great attention to detail when doing bits around the house. Our daughter laughed non stop when she was with her and was comfortable with her immediately. I highly recommend Laura, we wouldn't have coped without her.

We booked Laura about 6 weeks prior to the date. We live in Holland, so we met via video chat and immediately you could sense she was well organised and had good experience with children of all ages. Going forward to today, Laura provided a great service for family. We'd flown in the night prior and their sleep/emotions were a bit all over the place. After a crash course on everything about the kids, we set-off for the evening. Credit to Laura, her experience and skill won the kids over very quickly. We are staying in a hotel, so she brought some toys with her to keep them entertained. When we got back at just after 11pm, both kids were sound asleep (after having gone for a walk, playing, eating and bathing). Laura took the time to give us a detailed run down of the evening. We'll be coming back in November and have already booked Laura in for the next visit.

Weve hired Laura mutilpe times over the last year to look after our 1 year old girl and 3 year old. She is fantastic with the kids, reliable and a great communicator. She has years of experience and can handle anything thrown at her including multiple bedtimes single handed. I can recommend her enough.

we've used Laura for our son Sean who is 1 year old and we've never felt more assured of him being in safe hands. Very professional and a good laugh, Sean was instantly at ease we can't recommend her enough!
