Workers are responsible for interacting and caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, changing, and putting to sleep infants. Workers also conduct arts, crafts, and other projects, and should contribute their own age-appropriate activities to the center. Other duties include minor food preparation, sanitizing and disinfecting toys and surfaces, and some cleaning including vacuuming and picking up toys. Workers are also responsible for supervising and leading outdoor play including taking small outings on trail and other locations in the area. Workers also interact and communicate with parents on a daily basis.
Workers must be at least 18 years old. You must be certified in Infant and Child CPR and 1st Aid or begin the certification process within 2 weeks of being hired. You must pass Utah and Federal background (paid by the daycare).
