Children Northwest provides staff for Southwest Washington Child Care Consortium (SWCCC) and ESD 112 Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP). ASSIGNMENT: This position serves our Glenwood Early Learning Center in Battle Ground, Washington and is full time; Monday through Friday.
POSITION: Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Southwest Washington Child Care Consortium, the Child Care Center Director is responsible for the daily operation of the child care program. Duties include administrative tasks, managing staff, overseeing curriculum, communicating with parents, and ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations. The Center Director must also be willing to participate in the Washington State Early Achievers Quality Rating Improvement System.
1.) 45 quarter hours of college coursework in early childhood education; OR thirty college credits and one hundred fifty STARS or training hours
2.) Experience with routine office practices including using Microsoft office programs
3.) 2 years experience in leadership, supervision or management
4.) 2 years experience working with children
