This is a part-time position with a starting date in April 2016. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 1-3pm. As a primary staff in charge of a group of preschoolers, the candidate will
• Design lesson plans and post weekly schedule for preschoolers
• Organize daily learning activities
• Coordinate class and school events
• Supervise all activities and at snack time
• Build trust and bond with children
• Communicate with parents in a professional manner
The English teacher must:
• Be at least eighteen years of age or older and demonstrate the appropriate personal characteristics for working with children
• Have completed a high school education or the equivalent, and
• Have documented child development education or work experience
• Have experience working with English Language Learners
• Preferred personal characteristics include: love of children, kindness, respect for others, cheerfulness, warmth, flexibility, stability, and enthusiasm and lots of energy.
