Redmond Children's Academy is a Montessori Preschool committed to the growth of faculty members and students alike.
We are seeking a full-time Montessori teacher, who is fun loving, enthusiastic, dedicated, energetic, loves kids, and wants to make a difference in their early education.
Requirements:
Experience working with kids in a Montessori environment in a Lead role
Creative, well organized and fun loving
Good communication skills; should be sensitive and be able to develop positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
Able to easily adopt to various classroom activities and children's needs
Able to make required changes and maintaining classrooms for curriculum expectations
Manage (along with an assistant), a class of 6-kids aged 2-6 years
Some responsibilities include:
Preparing and maintaining the environment
Observing and recording milestones for each child using tracking tools
Keeping daily records and writing two short weekly journal entries (Birth to Three)
Monthly classroom newsletter
Child and parent orientations
Supervision and direction of your assigned assistant teachers
