-Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care
-Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children
-Help children keep good hygiene
-Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
-Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore interests
-Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
-Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring problems to the attention of parents
-Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest
· Must be 21 years or older
· 2-3 years of childcare experience
· High School Diploma Required
· Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.
· Proven record of performance with children ages 6 months to 4 years old which includes bathing, feeding, diaper/toilet training
· Excellent communication skills.
· Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required within 6 months of hire
· CPR/First Aid/AED certification required within 30 days of hire Must be willing to obtain the following:
· Foundations in Health and safety online E-learning course required within 3 months of hire · Department of Health Clearance: Background check, fingerprints, residential history, professional references · Mandatory 30 hours of online E-learning courses required within 6 months of hire*
• MUST BE COMPLETED/UPDATED EVERY 2 YEARS* Compensation Starting @ $15.00/hour based on experience with a review after 90 days.
Compensation includes: One-week paid vacation after a 90-day probation period.
Hours of operation: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
