Duties include:
? Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
? Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
? Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
? Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
? Building teamwork.
? Using assessment tools.
? Committing to continuing education.
? Exhibiting Christ-like kindness and Christian courtesy
? Developing lesson plans.
? Meeting the individual's needs of the children and their families
? Effective parent communication.
? Participation in staff and training meetings.
? Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
Qualifications
Lead Teacher- Completion of 40 hour training. FCCPC or CDA
First Aid and CPR certified
Able to pass Level 2 background screening
Flexibility to work anytime between the hours of 6:30am – 6:30pm, Mon-Thur and Fri 6:30am- 5:00pm
