I believe that my experience, skills and abilities would be assets to your early childhood program. I have nine years of experience in early childhood classrooms including as Lead Teacher and Supervisor of Assistant Teachers and Classroom Aides. As an Early Head Start teacher I have participated in the Louisiana Act 3 Pilot and therefore have extensive experience with Teaching Strategies Gold, Creative Curriculum, CLASS assessments and ITERS and ECERS. This spring, under my leadership, my classroom scored some of the highest scores on both ITERS and Toddler CLASS at Educare New Orleans. In addition to maintaining high standards in my classroom I have also managed multiple projects and special activities. I have excellent communication skills, possess a working knowledge of office computer software, and am currently completing a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training. I am proud of the successes of my classrooms and my students. My current goal is to build the capacity of new and future teachers so that they can experience the same successes.
