To whomever this may concern:    My name is Cassandra, and I am more than interested in your open position for Childcare Assistant Teacher. I myself have had 7 children, and am one to have a knack for being detail oriented. I'm the "soccer mom" that loves to watch all my nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kiddos and babies. Most of the time I just do it out of the kindness of my heart, and because being around children, and helping people makes my life more than bright on the rainiest of days. Even though my oldest is going to a University in Texas as we speak, those memories are as if they were yesterday. Becoming a mom was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love more than just children or "the customer", I love to help everyone to be the happiest that they can be. Making others happy, makes me happy. Just a little bit about me. I'm a hard worker, and know my way around customer service more than just a bit. I have worked in various occupations, and catch on more than rather quickly. Most of my management experience would be in retail inventory, catering, warehouse, volunteer work, etc.. I don't have very much experience in management that is concurrent or too recent, but I'm more than capable of doing anything that I put my mind to. I moved here from Texas two years ago, and I'm looking for a job to call home for more than just a few months. Part time or not. I've been working with a lot of temp agencies, and just haven't really found my right fit as of yet. I've also been working on and off for dshs as a childcare provider, but have yet to have any concurrent clients. I would really like to get some stability, and a routine under my belt. Along with love and passion for the job that I work. I have a food handler's, and am capable of getting any certificate needed to be obtained. I'm also available at any time in order to attend any classes needed. I don't mind dirty diapers, poop, dirt, cooking, cleaning, messes, etc. And I sure don't mind giving away great attention, my time and effort, and to love, help teach and grow each and every little angel/seedling that I meet. I'm sincerely looking to give you guys a go. I'm more than willing to show you just how great an asset I would be to your company. I just recently moved to the Tacoma/Parkland area. I don't have my own personal transportation, but I have access to a vehicle, and there is always public transportation. I sincerely don't mind using public transportation. And will here soon have a means of reliable transportation. That decision is just a big one, and it is taking me a bit longer than "normal" to make. I don't have a current Washington state driver's license, but I do have a current Driver's license from Texas state. I also have a pretty great driving record. I've maintained a great driving record since my license was obtained at an approximate age of 17. I am in the process of trying to obtain my Washington license. My wallet got stolen when I first moved here, and it's been a bit of a rough, uphill road, but I'm finally getting everything together it seems. I'm not one to procrastinate or depend on others. I'm more than reliable, and am a very hard working great person. I'm capable of working in any climate or situation really, and I would love the opportunity to meet you guys. I look forward to hearing from you soon to set something up, if you would ever be so kind.
