Position requires classes to be taken. First Aid & CPR are necessary and a PLUS to have before hiring, but arrangements can be made to obtain class while training. Fingerprinting and NYS OCFS criminal history will also be obtained. Candidate must be energetic, in good health and shape to be able to get on floor and play with the kids.
Position requires lots of diaper changing, cleaning runny noses, playing with and teaching the children through play and LOTS OF PATIENCE. It's a non-stop fast pace job with lots of attention to detail and multitasking.
A seasoned person (with at least 2 years experience in childcare) who LOVES children for my family home daycare in Levittown.
You do not need to have a degree, but I would like someone who has studied early childhood development, has an early childhood degree plan or a CDA. This is a part-time, long term position for about 15 - 20 hours a week depending on availability. Hours are flexible within reason.
I'd like someone who lives locally, within the surrounding towns of Levittown.
