Day Care Director at Kountry Kids Learning Center

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Plans, organizes and directs the child day care program in the facility per state and federal regulations.
• Ensures developmentally appropriate activities are provided for all children.
• Manages and directs quality assurance programs in accordance with national and state day care standards.
• Develops and maintains written policies and procedures that govern day care operations in the facility.
• Represents the facility in dealing with outside agencies.
• Maintains adequate liaison with parents, families, staff, and elders/neighbors.
• Supervise and monitor day care employees including hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Prepare annual budget for the day care.
• Follow established infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Plan, organize and conduct Intergenerational Program in conjunction with Eden and nursing home philosophy.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must have current Colorado Director’s License for large day care in good standing.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations.
• Must be able to write reports and business correspondence.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be detailed-oriented, independent and dependable.
• Carry out responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
