Job Description

We are a very high quality Five Star licensed preschool. We offer a professional environment that is based upon providing a nurturing and educational experience for every child from the ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are seeking a full-time director with excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record as a good leader as well as the ability to relate and connect with others with sincerity. The person should be professional and have an excellent work ethic. The individual must be very organized, detailed oriented, and have the ability to multi-task.

* Cost Control & Financials

* Staff Management & Development

* Parent relationship development

* Oversee development of children enrolled in the program

* Manage a safety program

Job Requirements

* Minimum Bachelor's Degree Required

* At least 3-5 years or more management and supervisor experience in any setting

* Possess a true passion for early childhood education

* Proven skills and strength in marketing and public relations

* Ability to manage conflict to produce positive outcomes

* High energy, enthusiastic, nurturing, and outgoing personality required

* Exceptional customer service and communication skills

* Common sense approach to problem-solving & superior judgment

* Experience planning, organizing, and executing events

* Ability to effectively delegate and oversee multiple task as well as staff

* Outstanding work ethic and flexibility (available to open and/or close school as necessary)

* Experienced with complex staff scheduling

* Must be able to lift 35lbs in case of emergency situation with a child

* BE able to study and learn the basics of NC Child Care licensing and sanitation

* Basic accounting knowledge and experience with payroll management

* Strong computer and technology skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, billing systems
