Grace Lutheran Early Learning Center is a Christian preschool program located in Howell. Our program is dedicated to providing high quality preschool experiences to young children. We are looking for a part time highly motivated Christian Lead Teacher to inspire and excite 3 year olds in their first educational experience for the 2015/2016 school year.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class function of a class of children.
Plans and implements lesson plan and relates with children on their level.
Provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity.
Communicates with parents regarding daily activities and children's progress.
Maintains professional attitude and work behavior.
Attends all staff meetings board meetings and school functions as determined by the Director.
Must be able to manage a classroom of children in a positive and educational manner.
Maintains positive attitude toward work, coworkers, children and families.
Must have one of the following:
An Associate degree or higher in Child Care Administration or Early Childhood Education.
A CDA
Must also have the following:
At least 1 year prior experience working with children as a Lead Teacher
Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
Physical stamina-must be able to bend, stand, sit on the floor etc.
At least 21 years of age.
