-Supervise children at play while helping resolve conflicts and expressing needs in appropriate ways in accordance to program goals and philosophy.
-Assist the teacher in implementing appropriate lesson plans in accordance with program goals and philosophy.
-Assist the teacher in preparing materials and supplies in advance for activities.
-Assist with keeping classrooms neat and organized.
-Assist children with personal hygiene such as but not limited to: potty training, diaper changing, brushing teeth and washing hands.
-Assist during snacks and meals such as but not limited to: food prep and cleanup.
-Perform other duties as required or assigned.
-Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin
-Pass TB test and criminal background check.
-Ability to lift 40 lbs.
-Must love children and have a passion for teaching.
-Must be reliable and able to work a 4 hour minimum shift Monday-Friday.
-Must be able to walk, squat/kneel, sit on floor, see, hear and speak with children to ensure children’s health and safety.
