We’re looking for innovative, energetic, and dynamic After School Teaching Staff to join our K-6th grade programs in the Irvine and Tustin area.

We currently have full-time and part-time (with benefits) openings available to candidates who have a passion for children and youth.

Unique Qualifications - develop curriculum & activities incorporating:
Sports, Recreation, Clubs experience; ability to lead fun outdoor activities
Strong arts and crafts, photography, and dramatic arts skills
Science, Math, and Technology (Photoshop, Premiere, Scratch)
Prior experience working with special needs children in a group setting

Responsibilities:
- Observe and document children’s emerging interests and progress through anecdotal notes and portfolios.
Prepare weekly lesson plans and assessments in accordance with CDI’s philosophy.
Supervise children to maintain their health and safety at all times.
Provide excellent customer service to all children, families, school partners, co-workers, and community members.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with co-workers/teammates to ensure the best quality program and services.   
Maintain a clean, safe, pleasant, and enriched environment.
Meet the needs of the children (cuts, accidents, throw up, center cleaning)

Job Requirements

Associate Teacher: 12 units of CD/ECE, and experience working with school age children. Must be able to qualify for a California state associate teacher permit. 

Teacher: 24 semester units of CD/ECE, 16 general education units, and experience working with school age children. Knowledge of DRDPs, portfolios, and lesson plan writing. Must be able to qualify for a California state teacher permit.
