We are in the process of opening a brand new high quality and modern childcare facility in Capitol Hill Washington, DC this December. Our curriculum will include language immersion and STEM components. We will provide the highest quality in childcare and are looking for the most qualified staff for our new positions. Each potential employee must demonstrate a genuine love for children, a passion to provide a foundation for the intellectual growth and development of children, a strong work background with long term job experience, and a professional work approach to their career. Each candidate must display strong communications skills, work ethic, be flexible, and creative.
We are now seeking applicants for all positions described below:
Lead Teachers (All Ages):
- CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field + 1 year experience.
-Must have experience with classroom management, lesson planning, and completing child assessments on timely manner.
-Excellent oral and written skills (must be able to effectively communicate with parents in English language)
-CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
-Familiarization with NAEYC standards preferred
-Spanish speaking a plus
-Pay rate: $13 - $15 per hour depending on experience
Teachers Assistants (All Ages)/floater:
-CDA credentials and 2 years of experience in a child care setting (preferred)
-High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in a child care setting.
-Excellent oral and written skills (must be able to effectively communicate with parents in English language)
-Should be willing to drive school van if it is a part of your job description or if needed
-CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
-Familiarization with NAEYC standards preferred
-Pay rate: $10.50 - $12.50 per hour depending on experience
Our program offers PTO benefits plus paid holidays, solid training program, and other fringe benefits.? Pay is negotiable based on previous experience and pay.?
