We are an Early Achievers Program, seeking a positive/energetic person who has experience working in a preschool or childcare program. As a teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children by providing them with a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. You will work with a talented team of diverse teachers and assist in the design and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum and work collaboratively to maintain positive relationships with parents, children and co-workers. Responsibilities will include: implementing lesson plans, engaging children in age-appropriate activities, providing a structured environment, completing basic housekeeping tasks within the classroom.
To be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements listed below:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have HS diploma or equivalent,
- ECE or CDA a plus
- First Aid, CPR, TB Test, Food Handler's Card
- Experience working in a licensed child care facility preferred
