CommuniKids Preschool and Children’s Language Center, the region’s premier academy in early childhood language immersion education, is bringing its innovative language programs to children. We are currently seeking experienced and energetic teachers for our Spanish language program. Qualified candidates would be teaching total immersion classes for toddler, preschool and elementary school-aged children. These play-based classes are taught 100% in the target language and encompass movement, music, arts and crafts, storytelling, and games. CommuniKids provides curriculum and training for all of our teachers.
We are seeking assistant teachers for the following programs:
Language Classes:
• Preschool classes running the entire school year including summer camp
• Available schedules include full-time, part-time, weekdays and Saturdays
• Classes are offered for children ranging from 18 months of age up to eight years of age
• Classes have a maximum of eight students
Qualifications:
• Must possess current U.S. work authorization
• Must be a native speaker of target language
• Ideally have experience working with children aged 18 months – 8 years. Experience can be in other fields such as music, movement, art, etc. We will only consider candidates with direct experience teaching young children
• Must be energetic, nurturing, and creative. We are a play-based program so teachers must be willing and able to sing, dance, and play with the children!
• Ability to work well in a team opportunities for growth, professional development, and additional hours are available.
