The Preschool/After School Counselor is responsible for creating a classroom environment and activities to support the cognite, physical, and social-emotional grow and development of all children in their care; developing partnerships with each child's parent(s) or guardians(s) to benefit their child and engage and encourage parents participation in the program.
Early Child Development knowledge and experience in group care practices.
Good communication, problem solving, and priority settings skills.
Ability to use com[puter and other resources.
Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities.
Ability to serve as a role model for children and families.
