Prince of Peace (a private Christian preschool through 1st grade) is looking for a Certified Teacher to teach our 1st Grade for the 2017-2018 school year. Candidate must have a love of children, be patient and kind, be a team player, possess good classroom management skills, and be organized. Our school uses the ABEKA Book curriculum; however, teacher should be able to supplement educational resources as needed to fill in any gaps as needed based on the skills of the students. Our school provides teachers with a full supply closet of resources and teaching tools as well as a planning period during the class day. This class shares an assistant with the adjacent class therefore, the teacher must be able to utilize his/her assistant effectively as well as independently Lead the class. Candidate should possess (or able to possess) at Georgia teaching certificate issued by PSC within the first 90 days of employment. Work hours are 7:45a-2:45p Monday - Friday during the school year (Aug - May). A school calendar will be provided at time of interview or upon request.
