Exceptional, private Early Childhood Learning Center in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a full-time, 12-month Preschool Co-Teacher ready to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be a key part of a classroom team delivering a discovery centers-based program along with a mix of small-group and individualized instruction focused upon whole-language, math, science, the arts and project-based learning--as well as social and physical development.

You'll need to have previous experience working with groups of preschoolers (ages 2-3, 3-4 or 4-5) and be eager to be part of a talented teaching team who provide both great learning opportunities and patient, loving care for each of our students each and every day. Positive classroom management skills and a passion for teaching preschoolers are essential (the typical behaviors of these age groups give you a chuckle, not a headache). Must be able to lift children and change diapers.
As many of our best co-teachers become lead teachers with us, only candidates who have completed a full, four-year BA/BS degree program will be considered--although your degree need not specifically be in early childhood education as we provide on-going professional development opportunities.
