Acclaim Academy is a STAR 3 center with a capacity of 187 children and three gym areas. We are seeking to add a third memeber to our maintanace team with either a PT or FT shift.
DAILY DUTIES:
Clean sinks
classrooms
bathrooms
utility room
Clean toilets
Sweep floors
Mop floors (stack chairs, 4 chairs being the tallest stacked)
Clean windows
Front/rear door
Interior/exterior class windows
Clean bathroom & classroom mirrors (classroom mirrors cleaned with pledge only).
Clean walls of hallway and classrooms as weekly.
Empty trash & replace trash bag
Take trash & cardboard to dumpster
Sweep:
front lobby outside – front of building
rear lobby
outside play area
Carpets
vacuum front & back lobby & Acclaim rugs
Shampoo carpets (at least 2) weekly
Collect & empty all spray bottles daily
Refill sanitation toy bins in classrooms daily.
Log, monitor, and Restock supplies
Assist with food, milk, and water delivery.
Paint as needed
Dust & wipe down ledges and base boards
Assist with mulch deliveries.
Stock supplies as needed.
MONTLY DUTIES:
Create and supply management with inventory list for paper goods, cleaners, etc.
Complete building safety checklist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Documentation of minimum of 8th grade education, high school diploma, or degree.
Strong positive communication and written skills.
Completes the following trainings: Mandated Child Abuse, Fire safety, & Health and Safety 10 hour training, first aid & cpr.
In addition, he/she must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, use arms hands, legs and feet, with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job.
He/She must have the ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, and demonstrate the ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances.
