MCCA has an immediate opening for a School Age Teacher position.

Responsibilities :

Teaching children aged five through twelve in MCCA before and after school child care programs.

Daily activities include fun outdoor play time and creating engaging learning opportunities for children.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 19 years old.

90 Hour School Age Certification.

9 Hour Communication Course or Certification, preferred.

ADA (Americans with Disability Act) Training, preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or an AA or higher in Elementary Education or a related field from an accredited college or university with at least 15 credit hours in elementary education and an interest in obtaining a Maryland Child Care Credential.

400 hours of experience working with school age children in a licensed child care center, public or private school; or caring for children as a registered family child care provider.

Hours:

Monday - Friday

6:15 AM - 9:00AM and 2:30PM - 6:30 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 to $16.00 /hour
