The Pembina Growth Committee is currently seeking qualified individual(s) willing to operate the city's only licensed daycare service.
Daycare business is completely established and candidate will have visibility to current financial projections at time of interview.
A fully equipped and functioning facility will be leased to the successful candidate at minimal cost. First year's lease will be rent and city utility free. Future discounts can be discussed for a low to no overhead structure.
Paid apprenticeship/internship provided under current director.
Must be able to pass background check and obtain SIDS/CPR/First Aid certification
Licensing requirements of Child care Director or supervisor:
Meet at least one of the following
- One year experience working in a child care with two parent references
- Certification from a Montessori teaching program
- Child Development Associate credential
- Director’s Credential
- Associate degree with at least 8 semester hours or 12 quarter hours in early childhood education or child development or 120 hours of approved early childhood training
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Early Childhood Education or Child Development …
Must be able to pass background check and obtain SIDS/CPR/First Aid certification
