Child Care Provider will oversee daily operations of a classroom. Duties may include assisting in the child’s arrival and departure from the center, diapering, feeding, toileting, resting, etc.Assesses development of children, assisting with games and learning activities.Observing and evaluating development levels and maintaining records and other related duties.Ensures and maintains the safety, well being and accountability for young children at all times. Interacts in a positive and guiding manner with young children. Leads and directs the work of others. Communicates frequently with families, staff and Owner. Monitors and ensures adult/child ratios and health and safety standards are met at all times. Participates in program success, compliance inspection and corrections along with ongoing quality and regulatory improvement plans.Applicants must be familiar with COMAR and willing to learn school policies and procedures, you will be required to implement these policies with staff, students and parents at all times
Must be dependable.
Must be at least 19years old
H.S Diploma
CPR + First Aid Certified
Minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility.
45 Hrs Preschool, 45 Hrs Infant and Toddler, 45 Hrs Child Growth and Development
Great written and oral communication skills
Great leadership skills
Background check required.
Completed Physical ( must be able to lift 40lbs.)
A one-year probationary period may be required.
