ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Caring for and developing a stimulating environment
• Prepare lesson plans;
• Supervising, guiding and documenting child interactions;
• Leading small groups; and
• Regularly reporting to administrators, parents and leading parent-teacher conferences regarding the development of each child in care.
• Invests in the life of the school by participating in weekly meetings and school wide events
VPK Lead Requirements:
Must have a CDA, or Staff Credential, or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
VPK Endorsement on DCF Transcript
Minimum TWO YEARS preschool experience.
Experience writing lesson plans using the Florida Standards.
Computer skills are required.
