Grace Episcopal Church, The Plains, Virginia will be opening a three classroom, faith-based Montessori school serving children 18 months-6 years, in September 2019.
We are currently accepting applications for Early Childhood Lead Teachers. Must have taken or have a willingness to complete Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 training as the spiritual guide for the school. College degree preferred but not required.
All candidates must be be dedicated to the Montessori philosophy and the spiritual development as well as education of children.
In addition, ideal candidates should be positive, patient, flexible, a team-player and have a sense of humor. We offer an excellent work environment as well as competitive salary and benefits.
This is a 10-month position.
All applicants must have a Montessori Early Childhood Credential from a MACTE accredited program and previous experience working in a Montessori classroom. College degree a plus both not required.
