We are offering positions for Lead and Assistant Teachers. Shifts will be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. We are looking to hire ASAP!
Requirements
•Applicants must be 21 years old
• Preferred experience and/or education in Early Childhood Development
• Complete 20 hours of required training services with daycare and individually
• Complete physical, background check, drug test, TB test and fingerprinting process
Applicants must be
• Committed, caring, consistent, patient, friendly and nurturing
• Timely, dependable, trustworthy and organized
• Have good time management skills and ability to multitask in and out of the classroom
• Able to communicate clearly with families
• Able to lift 35 pounds
• Able to bend down and speak to children at eye level
• Able to sit down on the floor/low chairs at times to participate daily activities
Teacher Responsibilities
• Take care of children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old
• Supervise children consistently throughout the day
• Plan daily classroom lessons and activities
• Implement lessons and activities that tend to the whole child
• Assess the needs of the classroom as a whole as well as individually
• Participate in storytelling, singing, arts and crafts
• Create a safe, nurturing and positive environment
• Create meaningful relationships with children, families and team teachers
• Document all feedings, toileting and detailed reports
• Keep classrooms clean and organized on a daily basis
