Must have reliable transportation 6 months supervised in the child care field, Clear Criminal History Record Report (obtained when hired), Clear Child Protective Services, Central Registry Check (obtained when hired), Satisfactory Sworn Statement (obtained when hired) Current TB Screening (obtained when hired)Resident of Hampton or Newport News preferred.
Teachers are responsible for making their class schedules, ensuring the safety of the children, enforcing proper hygiene both for themselves and the children, cleaning/keeping the classroom in order, informing the parent for the need of extra clothes or supplies for the child.
