Seeking an experienced Childcare Assistant Director/Lead Teacher for small home daycare center.
Must be able to actively engage with children, have great housekeeping skills and be well organized.
Should be able to take on management and administrative tasks as needed for the success of the business.
Must be able to develop and put together weekly lesson plans through educational activities for young children. Candidate should also be able to follow daily schedule, routines and be willing to learn based on business needs.
Our ideal person will be energetic, creative, be able to add character to the business through their ideas and personality. Must be comfortable with greeting and building a relationship with parents.
We are looking for a candidate with availability for 5 days per week. Daily shifts are 6 -12 hours, between the hours of 7am-8pm, based on our day to day needs. Candidate should also be available to work one Saturday per month between the hours of 8am-12am, as needed.
We are seeking an individual who is very professional, well-spoken, motivated, caring and who show the ability to excel in the energetic world of early childcare.
We are seeking someone who will grow with us long-term.

Duties include, but are not limited:
Assisting with feeding children, diaper changing, potty training, reading, singing songs, assisting children with art projects, trips, naptime, keeping environment clean and well organized, actively communicating with parents, developing weekly lesson plans, etc.
This is an immediate position. We are looking to hold interviews next week.
A college student enrolled in Early Childhood Education Program is a big plus, but not required
Bilingual Strongly Preferred
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Have a passion and genuine interest in working with children
Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm for education and learning
Must be a self-starter and able work independently while being creative

Must be willing to attend childcare trainings as needed
