Responsible for the care and safety of all children in designated class
Responsible for maintaining classroom following ODJFS rules and regulations
Ensure attendance records are updated throughout the day
Maintain open communication
Ensure 10 hours of professional development are completed each year
Adhere to ODJFS Rules and Regulations and Center Staff Handbook
Ensure daily and weekly cleaning schedule are followed
Develop and implement developmentally appropriate instructional programs / Lesson Plans Maintain a physical environment conducive to promoting optimal growth and development thru positive social interaction
Maintain control during drill for emergency evacuations
Ensure CACFP daily POS are counted at each meal time
Complete CACFP daily time log
Perform all other duties as necessary to continue quality child care
Minimum requirement of high school diploma, preferably CDA or AA in ECE. Must be able to pass OHIO BCII and FBI background checks, state and national sex registry checks and JFS check.
