A Brief Overview:
Plans, directs and coordinates objectives of the Company in accordance with Board of Directors and corporate documents. Helps manage and direct the daily operations of the organization.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Early childhood development; Required or

Bachelor's Degree Related academic discipline AND 12 hours of academic study or equivalent training in child development, early childhood education, curriculum resources, nutrition, child guidance, parent education, supervised practicum, and administration of early childhood programs; AND obtained one year of experience as an assistant program director in a center licensed for more than 100 children; Required or

Associate's Degree Early childhood education or child development AND obtained one year of experience working as a program director in a center licensed for over 24 children or obtained one year of experience working as the assistant director in a child care center licensed for over 100 children. Required


Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work with speed and accuracy on system and e-mail software. Word, Excel and some Verge ability is helpful.


Licenses and Certifications:

Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Illness, Abuse and Neglect Awareness.

Must be able to pass a KBI background check, including fingerprinting.

Must complete minimum state required hours of in-service education annually.


What you will do:

Help plan, develop, and establish policies and objectives of company in accordance with corporate documents leadership and Board directives. Coordinates the implementation of established policies and develop long-range goals and objectives to carry out strategic plans. Design, implement and coordinate special needs, IFSP and IEP programs.

Design, direct, monitor and evaluate services and educational programs.

Helps coordinate all legal activities. Maintains legal compliance with regulatory agencies for facilities and staff.

Coordinate fiscal policy and expenditure control including preparation of an annual budget to show expected revenue and expenditures. Monitor activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and redirect resources in accordance with current conditions. Responsible for preservation of company assets and protection of cash.

Coordinate functions and operations between sections on a daily basis. Facilitate communications between both sections and leadership and parents on a daily basis.

Represent the Company to third parties including hospital employers, government agencies, parents and the community.

Train and evaluate performance of personnel and volunteers including hiring and terminations. Assign adequate supervision. Conduct staff meetings for dissemination of pertinent information.

Responsible for helping to coordinate the development and maintenance of personnel policies and practices for the Company.

Monitor and resolve conflicts for staff, volunteer and clients.

Coordinates childcare billings and monitor payment collection.

Handle receipt of cash; monitor disbursements, deposits, and cash balances.

Provide information and assistance to leadership and parent company for consolidated financial statements, audits and tax returns.

Coordinate acquisition of furniture, equipment and supplies. Monitor inventories.

Fill job duties of Early Education Teachers when necessary.
