Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans
Establish and maintain a daily class schedule to include VPK Standards (VPK only).
Use strategies to help ensure smooth transitions.
Complete any and all assessments on time and return to the office.
Maintain positive communication with parents.
Post special events in a timely manner.
Arrange the classroom conducive to learning in a fun and challenging environment.
Maintain a sample portfolio of each student’s work.(VPK only)
Handle yourself in a Christian, professional manner at all times.
Maintain accurate attendance and keep in your possession at all times the class clip board and emergence tags
Follow proper emergency procedures (fire drills/lock-down drills, etc.).
Distribute or supervise the distribution of snacks and lunches.
Supervise bathroom breaks.
Keep classroom clean and adhere to all cleaning policies.
Adhere to all safety policies.
Fill out Behavior/ Accident Reports when appropriate
Keep a classroom schedule, a snack schedule, and an allergy list posted in class bulletin board and adhere to it.
Calvary Kids Care is currently accepting applications. We’re seeking team members with a passion for teaching and caring for children ages 2-5. Experience working with children and DCF training preferred; however, will train the right person.
