As the assistant teacher in the classrom you will assist the lead teacher with ensuring the safety and well being of all students. You will assist with the planning process, complete daily observations. Support the lead teacher in the classroom with maintaining classroom managment, effective implementation of lessons and providing support for the students where needed. You will also assist with communciating with families as needed.
A minium of an Associates Degree with the Assistant teacher certification.
Any degree above can qualify you for another position with a different pay scale.
