The Children's Place is a child care center created to meet the needs of families working with INTEGRIS in Oklahoma City. For over 50 years, we have worked with children and families to create a safe and fun environment for children six weeks through Kindergarten. The facilities are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and have three star ratings from the Department of Human Services.
Position Summary:
Teaches and cares for a designated group of children, implements a developmentally appropriate program that addresses cognitive, emotional, and social needs of each child while maintaining a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment.
Minimum qualifications:
* Eighteen years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
* Vocational certification, CDA, or higher education degree preferred
* Minimum of six months experience of formal or DHS licensed group care with ages 0 - 5 years.
* Must complete six credit hours per year towards Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development.
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
