Duties include but are not limited to:
*Assisting classroom teacher with activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
*Assist with supervision of children during playtime, outdoor play, emergency drills, snack and meal times and rest time
*Assist children with clothing, snack and meal routine and toileting and diapering activities
*Maintain daily open communication with parents
*Complete clerical tasks (including attendance records, illness and injury reports, and daily activity logs
*Assisting teacher with maintaining a safe and healthy environment including keeping classroom space neat and clean, restocking supplies and sanitizing toys and surfaces as needed
*Maintaining a commitment to professionalism through promotion of center philosophy and objectives, professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality, engaging in staff development and attending staff meetings and trainings
Previous childcare experience
Early Childhood Education degree or credits a plus
