Head Teacher Job Requirements
• Recruit and Develop strong relationships with our families and maintain maximum enrollment
• Adhere to all DCFS regulations and licensing standards.
• Create and Maintain a clean Classroom Environment, Curriculum Lesson Plans, Observation & Documentation notes with pictures and videos and follow the KLA Schools Reggio Emilia Inspired philosophy approach.
• Participate in Professional Development meetings
• Positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Deep love for children and a strong commitment to education and professional development
Educational Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education with emphasis on preschool through eight years old, from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of being a Teacher in Illinois.
• IL Director Qualified is a plus.
• Reggio Inspired Philosophy training or experience is a plus
