Teacher Assistant

The general responsibility of a Teacher’s Assistant include cooperation with Group Supervisor/ Lead Teacher in carrying out assignments in relation to daily programming that is consistent with the philosophy of the Center which takes into account the social, emotional, intellectual, physical and health needs of children. 

• A Teachers Assistant is responsible for assisting in the implantation of the daily program of activities.

• To help clean, sanitize, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

• All other duties are assigned by Lead Teacher or Director.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree or Certificate in Education, Early Childhood, Child Development, Elementary Education or Human Services field. 

Two letters of reference

 A High School Diploma or GED is required

Two years or more working with children

The applicant should have emotional stability, an interest in children and a willingness to cooperate and participate.
