Job Description

Part-time (10 - 15 hrs a week) positions available. Performance evaluations will last 90 days and then we offer reimbursements and pay increases.

We are currently seeking truly great people to join our organization. Our coaches serve as role models, embrace and exemplify our core values, and are able to solve problems. They are caring, patient, enthusiastic, reliable, love kids, physically active, and have knowledge of soccer. We provide children ages 2-6 with engaging, imaginative, creative play and character building lessons through Soccer Shots classes in a way that enables children to exercise and have fun with the world's most popular game. . .soccer!

We are currently seeking applicants for our upcoming seasons in Mesa, Queen Creek and Apache Junction with specific openings during the 3 pm hour on a daily basis, Saturday mornings and in the Queen Creek/Florence (western portions) areas. Job Requirements

The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:

Passion & Experience Working with Children - Previous experience working with young children (2-6 years old). This is more important than having played soccer.

Responsible & Reliable - Arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director, etc.

Professional - Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director, self-assured.

Enthusiastic & High Energy - Must enjoy interacting with young kids, be able to connect with kids ages 2-6, make the Soccer Shots session the highlight of every child's week.

Soccer - Official soccer experience is not required. However, having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful.

Physical Demands & Work Environment - Soccer Shots classes require instructors to be physically fit and support an active lifestyle. The work environment during a typical class can be indoor or outdoor (weather permitting) and the noise level is usually moderate to loud.

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a background check, pass negative T.B. test, and become CPR/First Aid certified (or be currently certified).
