I am writing to express my interest in an Assistant teacher position at Childcare. I am an enthusiastic teacher and Pedagogue, native Spanish speaker, with over three years of experience teaching and cooperating on educational projects, specifically in Early Childhood Education.

I have had several teaching opportunities around the world which has helped me develop more unique education skills and a broader understanding of children. For example, one of my most significant experiences working with children was volunteering in Cameroun. My eagerness to learn, combined with my strong work ethic and passion to teach, enabled me to implement a significantly improved organization system of school supplies and implement a new scholarship program for the Orphanage. This experience demonstrated my creativity, analytical abilities and aptitude to adapt to different cultures. The Montessori methodology is a reference for me, together with the Scandinavian models, with which I have worked and which helped me to understand education as a force for change and social improvement. My experience in these independent schools in Denmark helped me to develop and improve my teaching identity, focusing my efforts on enhancing creativity and autonomy through game, plastic arts and literature.

During my last year teaching in Spain generated new ideas and approaches to improving the learning environment for my students. For example, I created a drama workshop, adapting traditional songs and games, to strengthen reading and writing skills of my students. In addition I created a newspaper encouraging narrative skills, student participation and group cohesion.

With my education skills and experience of Spanish language, I will bring a creative, positive energy to the school, accompanied by a desire and willingness to build meaningful knowledge and a close interaction with parents and the school community. I believe I have an unmatched combination of enthusiasm, commitment and drive and am confident that I will quickly become a valuable member of your team.
