I am a dedicated early childhood teacher with a passion for children’s learning and care, and experience working in a preschool environment with children aged birth to five.

Little Early Childhood Center   Wichita, Kansas   January 2013 – May 2014
Special Needs Paraeducator
Perform G-tube feedings.
Provided ongoing support to the special education teacher.
Responsible for handling classes of around 6 mixed abilities students ages 3-5 years.
Leading, when necessary, and assisting with crafts, math and literacy activities.

Responsible for handling classes of between 10 and 20 students ages 5-12 years.
Liaising with other teachers and teaching assistants to develop my teaching technique, through observing my peers and regularly attending workshops, such as: projects, grammar for kids, task design, connected speech and teaching Cambridge tests.
Maintaining classroom management and preparing formal student records.

I have been a special needs paraeducator at Little Early Childhood Center since August. Previously, I had been teaching in Vietnam for three years.  

In addition to being a very organized teacher, I am creative and enthusiastic, and sensitive to children’s individual needs. I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as solid computer skills.

I believe this can be accomplished through the use of hands-on/minds-on activities, cooperative learning, an integrated curriculum, and, when possible, technology and the internet.
