Additional Information
Every child needs someone to believe in them and to expose their minds. Teachers are important because students spend a great deal of time with teachers on a daily basis. I provided students security in a loving atmosphere that builds growth emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially. As an educator I feel it is my responsibility to assist students in reaching the highest level possible. To do this it is important to support and encourage them while having an open mind. I guide my students while letting them be curious to explore new learning concepts. Students need the chance to figure things out on their own by processing information in a manner that will allow them to build independence from hands- on activities. It is also important to make age appropriate lessons that students can relate to their everyday lifestyles. Activities that are creative with imagination helps engage students to meet goals. I believe in setting higher standards to show students that they are capable of achieving the greatest level of success. This also builds the student's self-esteem and the relationship between the student and teacher. I believe in a classroom setting that revolves around love and respect. Each student has a chance to speak without negative judgments in a fair atmosphere. Classroom rules should be consistent at all times. Although I am the teacher my students have also taught me a few things. The feeling I get after seeing how hard they work to see learning growth is amazing! I love the time spent with them to the point where I fell as if I birth them myself. I get excited about trying new concepts and I’m proud when students can relate lessons to the real world. At the end of the day these kids will one day run the world that we live in and determine the outcome of the future. It is important to raise our children the right way because, one day they will take care of us. My personal teaching goals are to prepare students for the next level in education. I also want to become a role model for each student. With this being said, I want to help students grow and learn skills they can carry throughout life. I want to inspire students and help students notice their values and show that they have a voice.
