My experience with children includes babysitting and nannying full-time (over 50+ hours per week) for 4 years. I have worked with a few different families with various ages. I also did babysitting on the side, before I became a full-time nanny. Then I went back to school and I got 27 semester units in Early Childhood Education. I also worked as a substitute teacher at a Daycare center called Bright Horizons Family Solutions for 9 months. I enjoy working with children and it really is my passion in life to watch and help them form a solid foundation of many different skill assets.
I have a natual skill with calming infants. I am a very patient person, and it seems like most babies will be calm with me. When I worked at the daycare center, they liked to put me in the infant room because I helped maintain the peace in the room, as the infants would calm down when I was there. I do have a lot of education (I have 2 degrees from SJSU, a B.S. in Advertising and a B.A. in Graphic Design. I am a very creative and artistic person. However, children are my passion, which I didn't really discover until after I graduted with those degrees. Then I went back to school and I got a total of 27 semester units in Early Childhood Education (I was 1-2 classes shy of recieving my A.A. in ECE.
