My goals for this position is to successfully assist children in every way possible such as helping them with homework, leading group activities, and making sure everything is in order and safe.

Leaded the kids to parks and different trip destinations.

Guided the kids to the restrooms and water fountains.

Assisted the group leader with anything he needed help with such as handing out papers, looking for materials, etc.

I have already worked with children before and it was a very pleasing experience for me. I gained a lot of patience, my leadership skills improved, and I learned to keep a positive attitude in places that can be frustrating sometimes. I helped lead activities, I guided them to places, and always tried to maintain a peaceful environment. I was also an intern at a high school and my job was to be a social worker's assistant. In this internship I improved my communication skills since I had to facilitate workshops, inform students about them, and sometimes help lead those workshops. These experiences give me the confidence that I'm the best option for this position.
