I was an Associate Teacher at Foundations Early care & Education From 3/4/2015 to 9/2/2015. The curriculum was Reggio based. We set up the environment where children could freely explore, create and learn at their own speed. We often used open-ended questions in a variety of settings to promote thought processes and language development.
I was Head Teacher for the last couple of months that I worked their. I loved setting up inviting, stimulating environments. I found I didn't mind being in charge of a classroom and I really enjoyed working with the parents and their children. I would loved to have stayed longer, but due to family reasons we decided to move back to Humboldt County.
At Cottonwood Head Start I worked with children in a positive learning environment, where I have set up and planned all outdoor curriculum under the supervision of the Head Teacher as well as indoor curriculum, including, but not limited to table activities in the 2011/2012 program year. At the Shasta Head Start Cottonwood Center I began training for the Associate Teachers position; which included, but not limited to facilitation group times twice a week for both morning and afternoon classes.
I am a very friendly individual and believe in performing a job according to what is expected from someone or company that I work for. I don't spend any time on cells or other gadgets during work. I have excellent references, a very safe driving record and in case of appointments a newer, safe care to drive.
Looking forward to hearing from you, so that we may set up a time for an interview.
Sincerely,
Carmon Moen
