I worked in a head start for 20 years. I oversaw  5 family workers,36 staff and 194 families. My expectation for the workers during the official intake with the families was to make sure that they get to know their parents as an individual so that they are able to provide them with the most accurate services if needed ( Housing, Education, DV, Workforce, Nutrition or IEP). I meet with the FW once a month to review their files and give them monthly conferences. Assist with the 45 day health screening, Monthly reports and ERSEA. I provided training on any updated information that dealt with families. I assigned monthly assignment for the family workers to provide workshops with our community providers, Do recruitments, attend policy council meetings or provide coverage for the classroom when needed.and/or any other duties given by my Supervisor
